Jake Tyler Smith

Hailing from Granbury, Texas, Jake Tyler Smith has been cultivating an original sound for the past 30 years. With a vast range of influences from Guy Clark, Bill Frisell, Punch Brothers, Otis Redding, and many more, Jake’s organic and unique arrangements have been crafted for a broad range of listeners. Whether it’s Texas singer/songwriters, bluegrass, jazz, soul, r&b, or even Irish folk, Jake’s music is sure to surprise, elevate, and elate.

Jake attended Weatherford College and the University of North Texas both for Jazz Studies where he had the pleasure of training alongside some of the world’s most talented jazz musicians. Taking everything he could from those programs, he developed an adept ear for playing any style.
